 Image Modelling Agency's Fashion Caribbean
This year Fashion Caribbean Sept 2006 is about to lead by example. The show is a swerving cyclone of beauty, fashion, drama and an incredible sense of atmosphere.
Exclusive designers on the night will include, Brown Sugar,(SKB) Calvin Southwell,(ANU) Avark(BAR) Rojoe(BAR) Coamboju,(VC) Mosiac,(VC) Pinky,(VC) Shelline Williams,(VC) Kimya Glasgow (VC) and more designers to be unveiled in the up coming months.
Fashion Caribbean is the brainchild of the Image Modelling Agency, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This annual event got its start at the Ottley Hall Marina in September, 2001. It was one of the first, if not the first event to be undertaken by a local agency. The show featured designers from Trinidad, Antigua and host country St. Vincent. By the show's second year its appeal had grown considerably, as did the scope of designers attending.
Fashion Caribbean continues to grow from strength to strength as the Image Modelling Agency each year finds creative ways of making each show unique from previous years. Audiences have become accustomed to the theatrical portrayal of some of the region's best fashions. From the tango sequence that opened Fashion Caribbean 2, to the Chicago inspired finale of Fashion Caribbean 3, Image has become known for adding that extra dash of drama into each show they do.
The show which is held in conjunction with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, is making an impact in the region's industry, and is now an integral part in the Ministry's annual calendar of events.
